Shakespeare's rise to prominence in London, whilst trying to maintain a family
life in Stratford, exposes domestic difficulties which, like his works, remain
as applicable today as when they first emerged. The mix of historical and fictional characters give life and interest to the tale and there are explanatory footnotes to the text relating to authentic references. |
