Drama Workshops
We can come to your school (within the UK) during the working day, in the evenings or at weekends.
Sessions will be tailored to meet your requirements, covering any one or more of different aspects of theatre(eg. dance, theatre performance, stage management, make up) or based on a theme (such as a topic being covered in class, a script or book in the curriculum or an apposite subject - such as bullying).
We can offer different levels of work and approach, involving any age group and almost any number although we recommend a maximum of about 40 at a time.
Participants need not be limited to one source: some, for instance, might be drawn from neighbouring schools or drama clubs.
We can also offer Inset training sessions for staff - perhaps linked to the Literacy Hour or other curricular requirements.
"A thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile day" [Paul Baker - The Dragon School, Oxford]
FEES:-
Half day workshop: £300
Full day workshop: £400
+ travel expenses and VAT
(Fee based upon one tutor and a maximum of 40 students per session).

School Shows
We provide the expertise and you provide the pupils/cast!
We will put on a production in your school with minimal disturbance to your staff but maximum advantage to your students.
It could be a small cast piece, whether straight play or revue, or large numbers of performers in a full-blown musical; or why not go for our speciality, an Old Time Music Hall? (Often the Head or a senior member of staff can be persuaded to be the Chairman!).
Our professional team will rehearse the cast at established times during a normal school term or during as week or more of intensive practice - very popular as a Leavers' Project after exams, for example. Some schools now make an annual booking with us.
"Thank you very much for the really excellent week you gave our leavers;
they thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the performance was superb in every respect."
[David Lees-Jones - Lockers Park School, Hemel Hempstead]
FEES:-
Negotiable, dependent on the size of group, hours and expertise required and the need for / availablity of accommodation etc. when appropriate.

Set Design
Whether it is for a show which we publish or not, we may be able to help you with the design of your stage sets.
Over the years we have created a great many designs for different productions, large ans small scale. These have included touring productions (one even had to be transported to the USA in suit-cases!) and thetare-in-the-round, as well as conventional end-stage situations.
Contact us as soon as you can after you have chosen your production and we will discuss what you would like us to do. This can vary from a few sketched ideas to the construction of the actual set on stage.
"As usual, [SchoolPlay Productions Limited] provided us with a fabulous set - especially the archway which appeared to glide around the stage on its own."
[James Morrison Corley - Holmwood House School, Colchester]
FEES:-
(Negotiable, dependent upon the level of input required.)
