| Synopsis: | "It has been written that there are only seven stories and four jokes", announces Pylon, the Pantomime Centaur, to introduce the show. But this deviation from Jason and the Argonauts, containing most of the legendary characters with many space age additions, and related through some stunning punning, makes a very serious attempt to disprove the statement! After his father loses his throne to the evil King Pelias, Jason goes in search of "The Golden Geez"; his adventures take him through the Planet of the Anoraks and into continual conflict with Pelias' side-kick, Daft Raider. But eventually all opposition is overcome and he finds the Geez, who banishes Pelias "to that solar system to the left of Wales" and places Jason on his throne. |
